You might have noticed I’ve gone silent lately on this blog, but I haven’t stopped writing. My focus has been on getting my debut memoir published with Lucid House Publishing, and it’s finally out! I’m beyond excited to share my story with the world.

The title is PARADISE ROAD: A Memoir, and you can read more about it on my new author website, https://www.MarilynKriete.com.

You can also check out some reviews on Goodreads. Make sure you type in my name or the full title (including A Memoir) to bring it up. My book not the only Paradise Road out there, but it’s definitely the latest!

You can order the book on Amazon, or go to my website for other options. The e-book should be ready later this week, and as soon as it is, there will be more vendors to choose from on my Book Store page.

Even a sentence or two saying why you liked the book would be fantastic–no need to write a book report! I’m so grateful to all of my readers/followers/fans for accompanying me on this writing journey. I’m not abandoning Purple Splash of Glory, but for now most of my attention will be on book promotion–not my favorite activity, but necessary! I’ve also started a blog page on my new website, which will mostly be about memoirs: the genre, some of my favorites, and what it’s like to write one.

PARADISE ROAD is only the first of several memoirs we’re planning to publish. My second one, THE BOX MUST BE EMPTY, is scheduled for release in January 2022. I have a third memoir about our time in India, already written, and a fourth that I’m working on, about our years in Africa.
